FES in Ethiopia

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Ethiopia, Addis Ababa office, was established in 1992. Since then, it has been actively supporting the process of political, social, and economic development and transformation in the country. In its almost three decades of experience in Ethiopia, FES has established strong partnerships with non-governmental organizations, trade unions, civil society organization, Think Tanks, universities, government institutions and the Ethiopian Parliament.

FES Addis Ababa is part of a closely woven network of FES offices across the continent and the world. We aim at intensifying the good working relationship with both internal and external partners by providing financial, technical and intellectual support for programs that foster democracy, economic and social development.
