High level consultative workshop on media in the national dialogue process in Ethiopia

FES and IMS have envisaged a series of consultative workshops bringing relevant media-related stakeholders together to debate existing and upcoming challenges as well as prospects on how best to contribute to the national dialogue process. This first even, in this regard, brought together prominent media personalities, selected leaders of media houses and renowned researchers to engage in a closed, serious, and frank assessment of the overall situation related to the current standing of media outlets in covering conflict situations and the planned dialogue process. Feedbacks and recommendations to be acquired from this workshop is expected to inform the FES-IMS series of events on media and national dialogue in Ethiopia.
