Conference on "The Role of Media for Lasting Peace"

Representatives of political groups, prominent persons, religious leaders, and scholars deliberated on the issue. The importance of mainstream and social media in advocating peace was the main point of discussion. In the context of the volatile peace and security situation in the country, suggestions and recommendations forwarded were expected to contribute to the task of handling the media outlets in the advancement of lasting peace in Ethiopia.
